Licence-free cars are becoming attractive!
With their increasingly sophisticated interiors and exteriors, licence-free cars are becoming increasingly attractive and are winning over a wider and younger French public.
They can be driven with just an french AM licence and are available from the age of 14, making them a good alternative to scooters or mopeds.
These cars weigh a maximum of 450 kg, travel at 45 km/h and have 2 seats and a boot. Equipped with batteries of up to 12 kWh, technological advances have improved their range and they can now cover more than 100 km on average. Some Ligier models can even reach 190 km!
LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) technology is the most suitable for batteries in these light vehicles, mainly because of its safety and long life.
At ARTS Energy Mobility, we develop, design and manufacture in France batteries dedicated to licence-free vehicles and fully adapted to their specific requirements.
