A major ecological turning point with ARTS Energy Mobility

At a time when sustainability has become an essential priority, the Vedettes de Paris are taking a major ecological step by partnering with ARTS Energy Mobility and Barillec to electrify their fleet of tourist boats. On 1 February 2024, the Vedettes de Paris will launch their first 100% electric boat: the Paris Trocadéro. The aim is to electrify almost the entire fleet by the end of 2025.

This partnership marks a major ecological shift in the French capital’s river tourism industry, highlighting the importance of innovation and commitment to the environment.

The transition from traditional boats to an electric fleet is now possible thanks to the use of batteries specially designed by ARTS Energy Mobility and manufactured 100% in France. These batteries, based on Lithium-Iron-Phosphate technology, offer admirable performance and remarkable durability, ideal for meeting the specific needs of this project.
These batteries are extremely robust and very reliable, making them ideal for riverboat applications.

The partnership between ARTS Energy Mobility, Barrillec and Vedettes de Paris demonstrates the shared commitment of these companies, all representatives of “Made in France”, to innovation in the service of the environment. By working together, these companies are proving that it is possible to combine tourist enjoyment and environmental responsibility, offering visitors to Paris a unique experience while preserving the health of the planet.
